This blog started out as a necessity and I dont know where it is going. Needed an account login to post a reply to my friend's blog (http://rkalsoruns.blogspot.com/) and created one for myself in the process.

You are right. It is gonthu instead of gunde. I am getting too old and careless. I checked up the Rudraveena song now. But in this site (http://www.idlebrain.com/nosta/jewels/rudraveena.html ) the song is described with gunde. This was my source. But this is the thing you learn from doing research - always go to the original source so you can avoid such pitfalls. Looks like my scientific training has taught me something after all.
